In these challenging times, the MADE Cymru team can help you plan for the future by offering you and your employees a flexible University course.
Continuous Improvement with Industry 4.0 is a heavily subsided course (modules only cost between £200 and £333 each) split into two modules: Green Belt Six Sigma and a group project. On completion of both modules, the learners will receive a 40-credit certificate at level 5 from University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
The course is designed to:
- Help you keep ahead of your competitors.
- Increase understanding of how to reduce waste and cost.
- Empower, upskill and boost staff moral.
- Enable improved competitiveness and efficiency.
- Gain access to technologies, knowledge and support to enable improved products and processes.
Upskilling your workforce shouldn’t be disruptive to your business, so we’ve made it as easy and flexible as possible for you. The course is delivered by friendly lecturers, with expert industry experience, over a 32 week period using online blended learning (so perfect for furloughed staff or those working from home). It has been designed in a way to embed Six Sigma thinking within your own organisation as well as providing real tangible benefits to industry as a whole.
James Davies, Executive Chairman at Industry Wales said: “Industry Wales is fully supportive of these EU programmes. At a time of significant change and challenge for the Welsh Manufacturing sector, this operation is both timely and critical. With an established track record in providing industry focused solutions, UWTSD are ideally placed to deliver such an operation.”
MADE Cymru is a suite of EU funded projects delivered by University of Wales Trinity Saint David through its Centre for Advanced Batch Manufacture, tailor-made for Welsh SMEs and individuals to plug into the power of disruptive technologies, in order to boost productivity.
