This week’s international innovation expert – Alice de Casanove, Airbus Group (Washington DC)


Broadcasting live from Washington DC for the first of her two contributions to our International Innovation Management programme, Alice de Casanove will be focusing on the ISO’s 5600 series, the standards that have been created specifically for Innovation Management.

As Chair of the international committee responsible for these standards, Alice will bring with her a wealth of insight and understanding on the relevance of these standards.

Alice Works for Airbus North America, where her role is managing and developing an innovation culture for their 4000 plus employees across the USA. From her base in Washington she nurtures and promotes the mindset that’ll be necessary for the company’s future businesses.

In 2018 she was nominated ‘Woman Innovator of the Year’ by l’Usine Nouvelle for her innovation project of beehives monitoring by satellites. Alice is presently finishing up her PhD – “The Relationships Between Large Corporations and Start-up Companies” with the Université de Lorraine, Grand Est, France.

MADE Cymru offers an International Innovation Masters course or a shorter Business Improvement with Innovation Management (Certificate 40 credits Level 7). These are certified by University of Wales Trinity Saint David and at the moment are fully funded for eligible businesses. All the courses are delivered via blended online learning and are designed to be flexible.
