Lisa Lucas is the Head of MADE Cymru and brings over 16 years of business development experience to the role. Her responsibilities include fostering and maintaining effective relationships with the manufacturing sector in Wales, as well as developing proposals and managing collaborative research projects within the organization.

With her extensive project management experience, Lisa has successfully developed and managed several collaborative R&D projects between the University and industry. She has also managed a pan-Wales European project, which assisted over 200 businesses in adopting new systems and processes.

Over the past decade, Lisa has established a track record of managing numerous manufacturing sector projects with companies of different sizes, ranging from large anchor companies like Aston Martin and Calsonic Kansei to local SMEs. These collaborations have varied in size, scope, and research areas, covering a range of technologies.

Lisa is known for her personable and cheerful nature, which has helped her establish and maintain positive working relationships over the years. She is excited about the challenges presented by the constantly evolving landscape of Welsh industry and is eager to make a meaningful contribution in her role as the Head of MADE Cymru.
