The MADE Cymru team is very excited to welcome Mahesh Kannath to the programme. Mahesh started his career as a robotics engineer and worked on a wide variety of technology projects for different organisations in different capacities.
Some of the work assignments included design, development, testing and integration of industrial robotics and automation systems. His expertise includes robotics, automation, embedded systems, machine learning, system testing, verification, and validation etc. During a Research Associate job in Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, he realised his passion for teaching and took up a full-time teaching job in University of Dubai. He is now currently working as a lecturer for Industry 4.0 with MADE Cymru at University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Mahesh said, “I am really looking forward to engaging with some of the advanced projects in the MADE Cymru programme. It is already exciting to see what the students are achieving, and how many different manufacturing sectors are collaborating on the courses.”
