MADE Cymru students benefit from international innovation expertise

Continuing with MADE Cymru’s module International Innovation Management, this Friday students will be joined, live from Paris, by a very good friend of lecturer Alan Mumby – Nicolas Bry. Nicolas was one of the ‘stand out’ speakers at an Innovation Management Conference that Alan attended earlier this year.

Nicolas is an International Innovation Executive, working for Orange S.A., he brings his knowledge and expertise to the delivery of corporate innovation programmes, and innovation labs. He currently boosts innovation with the 20 countries of Orange Africa bringing innovations to the fore. As the creator of the Orange Start-ups Studio, Nicolas encourages Orange employees to engage as intrapreneurs, bringing their ideas to life within Orange business.

In 2016 Nicolas was awarded the ISPIM Prize laureate for innovation management – and in 2019 published his book ‘The Intrapreneurs’ Factory, a practical guide to leveraging intrapreneurship for your company’.

Alan Mumby said, “I believe his focus on developing intrapreneurship with organisations is really interesting and very much aligned with innovation management methodologies. The students are really looking forward to hearing him speak.”

MADE Cymru offers an International Innovation Masters course or a shorter Business Improvement with Innovation Management (Certificate 40 credits Level 7). These are certified by University of Wales Trinity Saint David and at the moment are fully funded for eligible businesses.
