Fully funded manufacturing courses for Welsh industry, starting February

University of Wales Trinity Saint David (via their MADE Cymru initiative) has spaces on their Upskilling for Industry 4.0 and Innovation Management courses starting February 4th.

And what’s more, they have just had confirmation that the fully funded offer has been extended to cover February’s cohort. This means that there is no financial cost to the organisation or student (eligibility criteria apply). This is the last time the courses will be fully funded.

The courses are taught live online on a Friday afternoon, are very flexible and you can choose between a short or long option – to suit your own work and home commitments.

We have some fantastic students from different sectors already studying with us. And the feedback has been incredible.

Andrew Williams from PerkinElmer says, “Can’t recommend MADE Cymru enough, I have so much fun with tutors and other students while learning – not sure I’m supposed to! More and more students are joining all of the time – could it be for you?”

Amanda Hughes, Principal Project Officer at MADE Cymru offers support to all the MADE Cymru students and helps them with any queries or problems. She said, “I am the first point of call for the students on all the MADE Cymru courses and often chat to them about how the course is going. I’m really surprised at how it has empowered some of the students and unleashed a real desire to learn and improve. The other unexpected outcome has been students from different organisations working on group projects together and I am excited to see this has led to new collaborations away from the course. This is the last time the fully funded offer will apply, so I hope lots more manufacturers in Wales will take advantage by signing up to the February cohort.”
